The Full Moon Jams are FREE, family-friendly events that happen every full moon during the summer months in Chicago, from March or April to October or November, weather permitting. Started in 2004 by a group of friends celebrating a birthday, the jams have grown in size to accommodate the increasing amount of drummers, fire spinners, families, and random passer-by's that come to enjoy the night.

Picnics & photographers are welcome, but we ask everyone to respect a few simple rules:

LEAVE NO TRACE - Take everything you brought with you back out of the park, including trash.

NO ALCOHOL - or other recreational substances in the park, it is ILLEGAL and puts the jams at risk.

NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY - it's dangerous for the performers.

ALL PETS MUST BE LEASHED - for the safety of the performers, the crowd and your furry friends.

LEAVE BY 11PM - the park closes at 11pm and you will get ticketed if you're there.
