Hello dear community,The Intelligent Designers and Entheon Village would like to invite you all to an amazing event filled with supersonic dubstep, and breaks, visual environments, and the grandest of auras and vibes. This event will showcase some incredible artists from Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Chicago. Come out and support after the Bunnycon Bar Hop, all you beautiful people!

  • Bass Science- Los Angeles and Tokyo. (Native State records)

Bass Science's debut EP Transmissions From Planet Dub fuses dubstep, IDM, glitch hop and dub into a fresh new sound that is simultaneously super filthy and extremely clean. Italian-born, Tokyo-based dub master MattB (RaNDom) and Chicago-born, LA-based audiovisual luminary Steve Nalepa conduct their sonic experiments on different continents, mutating files and sending them back and forth across the web. The resulting soundclash melds serious low end, deep pocket rhythms, crunchy distortion, glitchy mouth percussion, blips, bleeps and a heavy dose of dub delay. Call it glitchstep, call it dubhop…whatever you call their Frankenstein baby, it has escaped from the lab and is about to wreak havoc on dancefloors everywhere.

  • Nalepa- Los Angeles. (Native State records)

LA-based electronic musician, multimedia artist and mad scientist collector Steve Nalepa combines deep dub bass, glitchy breaks, bioacoustic atmospheres and beautiful sinewave melodies to create his patented brand of ambient glitch dub. Known for his vast and eclectic array of artistic collaborators — cultivated and acquired through years of producing spectacular audiovisual events and sharing bills with some of the worlds best electronic musicians — Nalepa is considered a key node in the west coast audiovisual scene and holds the appropriate title of Flavorpill’s “beat guru”.

  • RND- Tokyo, Japan. (Celestial Dragon records / Native State records)

RND is Mattb 's electro-dub project started in winter 2003 in Tokyo.Shortly after , in spring 2004 the critically acclaimed demo 'Cuts One' was released : a mix of electronica and dub cuts. Following the overwhelmingly positive response to their independently released e.p 'Point Two' in winter 2004,RND have since been ensured their tracks regularly played by chill out luminaries such as Nova(Ultimae Records) and Gaudi (Interchill Records). RND's tracks have been released so far on Em:t records , Interchill (Canada) , Native State Rec (U.S.) , Celestial Dragon (HK). The new album featuring Brother Culture at the vocals is due to be released on the 8th of April 2008 on Celestial Dragon ( www.sonic-dragon.com) .

  • Cringer- Chicago

Raised by jackals in the darkest mountain recesses of Appalachia, Cringer emerged from the back woods armed with two turntables and a fattened sack of dubplates. Traveling to Chicago, he found home with the Part Time Sucker crew bringing his signature brand of bass-ridden drum-driven Jungle and Drum n' Bass. Since then, Cringer has crossed paths with the low level rumblings known as Dubstep and, after dueling with swords on the beaches of Ganryu Island, they joined forces to untwine soundscapes that exist where bass becomes "sub". Currently, Cringer can be found ruthlessly rattling bass bins, scorching dancefloors and tracking the sun in anticipation of 2012. To seek the Cringer, one merely need follow the trail of toppled speaker stacks and demolished sub cabinets.

  • Phaded- Chicago (Dubstep.fm)

Phaded began his affair with the beat in the late 90's, doing production and later Dj'ing a blend of Underground Hiphop, Downtempo and Dub tracks. Inspired by the musical brilliance of artists spanning many genres, there was a constant compulsion to present some of the most underground of sounds and rhythms in his sets. Becoming part of the emerging Dubstep scene in the US was only a natural progression for Phaded, as it tapped into all the many facets of his musical foundation. Over the last year there has been great success for his weekly broadcast- The Dented Sessions on Dubstep.fm as well as performing countless times around the Midwest US. 2008 only looks brighter for this Sub Junkie, with an eye toward lending his own productions to the scene in upcoming months. Be ready for some bass weight when you enter the building.
